North East News
Our North East and Yorkshire Community Coordinator, Jeni Langley, was delighted to represent UK SMART Recovery at the World Mental Health Day drop-in held at Cleadon Park Library in South Shields last Friday. South Tyneside’s Mayor, Jay Potts was in attendance and gave a very moving speech and bravely talked about his own mental health struggles as well. It was a great morning of networking with other local organisations and informing the general public about what help is out there for everyone. 😊
