SMART Recovery Press-Ups Challenge
Justin from CGL Reset Recovery in Tower Hamlets completed a fundraising challenge at the Recovery Walk in Crystal Palace Park, London. For every press-up done during the Recovery Walk, Justin asked members of the recovery community to donate 10p per press-up. Justin wanted to raise money for SMART Recovery to help weekly group meetings can become daily meetings. During the two-hour event, Justin completed 71 press-ups and raised £75.40 for SMART Recovery. North East Recovery Month
Week 2 of Recovery Month 2024 was another busy one for our North East and Yorkshire Community Coordinator, Jeni Langley. The weather was absolutely glorious for the South Tyneside Recovery Walk on Thursday 12th September!
On Friday, as well as Jeni speaking about SMART Recovery, there were a wide range of organisations represented at the very successful North Tyneside Recovery Partnership Recovery Conference.
Newcastle Recovery Conference
Our CEO Dr Charlie Orton and Community Coordinator for the North East will be attending the Recovery Conference today. They will both be doing a talk on The Evolution of UK SMART Recovery. If you are attending, please don’t hestiate to say hello to both Charlie and Jeni.
