Recovery Month 2023
Recovery Month 2023 has started and SMART Recovery will be celebrating. We will be attending both the Scottish Recovery Walk in Greenock and the English Recovery walk in Hull. We hope to see people at these events.
We will also be releasing our Volunteer Recognition Scheme this month. Thank you to everyone who completed our recent survey.
We also hope to release some SMART Recovery Myth Busting and get a word from our SMART Recovery Ambassador DJ Brandon Block.
Our North East & Yorkshire Community Coordinator, Jeni Langley kicked off Recovery Month by enjoying the fabulous Recovery Festival, organised by Recovery Connections last Friday. (see below photos) and the events just keep on coming! 😊 Jeni is taking part in South Tyneside Adult Recovery Service’s annual Recovery Walk on 7th September from South Shield’s Amphitheatre to Souter Lighthouse. She will also be at Shipley Art Gallery from 12-3pm on Friday 8th for the Recovery Market place event organised by Recovery Connections, Gateshead. This fantastic event will bring together local organisations, include several presentations and even a singalong at the end! 😃
