Veterans and First Responders Conference – The world’s veteran, currently serving, and first responder communities are filled with brave, strong, and honorable individuals. They are true heroes and inspirations for all of us.
Some of these individuals also display bravery by their commitment to recovery from substance addiction, mental health disorders, and maladaptive behaviors. To honor and recognize their efforts, SMART has created an International Veterans & First Responder’s Webinar. This free event is open to all veterans, currently serving, and first responders across the globe—and those who wish to show support and solidarity with these communities.

Only Human Campaign Report – Below is a link to the Adferiad website, where you can read our report at your leisure. This is a report which is aimed at reducing stigma surrounding addictive and compulsive behaviours.
NHS Conference – Dr Charlie Orton, CEO attended the recent NHS Addictions Provider Alliance 2022 Annual Conference on Tuesday 08th November. You can watch it back via their on demand service here.

Free Webinar – Here is a free webinar offered by The Addiction Theory Network called The Puzzle of Addiction. It is suitable for professionals interested in different (academic) views about addiction or those in recovery interested in the academic theories surrounding addiction. This event is for anyone interested in contemporary approaches to addiction theory and intervention. Hanna Pickard will speak for approximately 45 minutes and there will then be opportunity for questions and discussion. Please note that a recording of the Webinar will be made available online.
