We’re Here to Help

If you have any questions, feedback or a specific enquiry regarding meetings, training or support, we would like to hear from you.

Maybe we can answer your question in our FAQ’s here?
What can I expect when I go to a SMART Recovery meeting and do I need to pay?

Our meetings follow a standard structure and usually last for 90 minutes. Unless stated, you can just turn up for our meetings, no appointment necessary. There is no charge to attend but at some meetings the group facilitator may ask for donations at the end to help cover room hire and materials.

About SMART Meetings
How do I set up a SMART Recovery meeting?

To set up a SMART Recovery meeting you must first complete the official SMART Recovery Facilitator training. Training is available to UK SMART Recovery Volunteers and individuals nominated by a partner organisation.

About Our Training
Where can I find my nearest meeting?

You can search for a local meeting on our website. We recommend searching by postcode. If there are no results is may be that there are no meetings yet in your area. If this is the case then you might want to consider attending an online meeting.

Online Meetings
Can we use SMART Recovery within our organisation?

Your volunteers and staff may use the SMART Recovery programme materials, access training and set up meetings as long as you are signed up to the UK SMART Recovery Partnership Scheme.

Partnership Information
I have tried other programmes and they haven’t worked, how is SMART different?

We believe that there is no single ‘right’ way to recovery. We all need to find what works for us. We recommend you read ‘Our philosophies’ and ‘What Makes SMART different’ on our 'About Our Organisation' page.
