Volunteer Recognition Scheme
Our new Volunteer Recognition scheme will be launching this month and we want to hear from you! SMART Recovery UK Volunteer Recognition Awards recognise and celebrate the successful and inspirational people within the SMART Recovery community. Since 1995, SMART Recovery UK and their volunteers have worked relentlessly towards making a difference in supporting others maintain their recovery. SMART Recovery UK Volunteer Recognition Awards symbolise the hard work, passion and dedication that SMART Facilitators exhibit in their communities. These awards are open to all SMART Recovery Facilitators in the UK and Ireland. Tell us about the people and organisations who deserve to receive a SMART Recovery UK Volunteer Recognition Award!
The categories are…
Significant Achievement Award: for someone who accomplishes a significant achievement, such as running their 1000th meeting recently or someone who has set up a new, successful SMART Recovery meeting
Volunteer of the Year Award – for someone who provides an expectational level of service and dedication to UK SMART Recovery and the SMART community
Annual Ambassador Award – special recognition for a team, recovery service, or individual SMART facilitator contributing to the SMART community
Campaigner of the Year Award – for someone who promotes the UK SMART Recovery through social media, at events and in their local community
Once the scheme goes live, we will let you know how you can nominate individuals for these awards.
