SMART Recovery Strategy 2023
We are pleased to share our completed strategy document. The strategy is to effectively focus on growing, connecting, supporting and unlocking the potential of UK SMART Recovery (UKSR) it is important to understand the SMART Recovery community and landscape in which it operates. In this section the various elements that currently formulate the community are defined and described. The strategy can be found on our website permanently here under the section “Strategy”. Kiltwalk Dundee
As advised in last weeks bulletin, we have recently attended the Kiltwalk in Dundee. Pictures for this event can be found below.
Bury SMART Recovery
There is a great new SMART meeting in Bury on Wednesday afternoons. The meeting is open for Achieve service users and visitors to attend, it would be great to see some more faces there!

North East Activities
“Our North East & Yorkshire Community Coordinator, Jeni Langley, had a brilliant time out and about in West Yorkshire last week. Huge thanks to Forward Leeds, HMP Leeds and The Basement Recovery Project, Halifax for their warm welcome. Just fantastic work being done and some great, well-attended and facilitated SMART Meetings going on too, particular thanks to Jo Byrden, Justin Sykes, Abi Harrison, Kirsty Shaw and Kelly Lees.”
