Online Meetings Cancellations
The Friday 8am meeting will not be going ahead tomorrow, 28th of July. The meeting will return as normal next week.
The Thursday Family and Friends meeting will also not run on Thursday 3rd August.

SMART Recovery International’s first Global Survey is still live!
It’s not too late to complete our first global survey. Sadly we have not had many people complete it yet. If you use SMART Recovery please complete this essential survey as it will only come round once per year. We need as many UK participants to complete it as possible as want to be able to publish the results!
The study involves a one-off survey that should only take around 30 minutes to complete.

NE & Yorkshire Weekly News
Our North East and Yorkshire Community Coordinator, Jeni Langley, has been out and about in recent weeks. Firstly, delivering information about UK SMART Recovery at 2 County Durham Drug and Alcohol Services staff away days on 5th and 12th July. Last week, she was visiting the meetings and sites of our SMART partner North Yorkshire Horizons in Richmond and Northallerton and really enjoyed meeting the staff, volunteers, and participants at both venues and was grateful for such a warm welcome. 😊
