Text to Donate is here!
We are giving people a quick and simple way to donate to our charity via text, up to a value of £20. It provides an opportunity for people to show gratitude if the SMART Recovery Programme has helped them or someone they know. You simply text 70580 with the word SMART and a number of how many pounds you’d like to give e.g. SMART1 donates £1 to us. The income will be ringfenced for our new volunteer recognition scheme that we are launching in 2023. It will enable us to create annual volunteer awards and new facilitator start up packs. We will be adding this information to our opening statement for all meetings as it can be used as a virtual pass the hat as well!
Kenny Reid – Further to our Weekly Bulletin dated 19/08/2022 we advised that Kenny Reid has joined our SMART Recovery team. I’m to confirm that his picture and bio have now been added to our Meet the Team page.
Christmas Day Meeting – SMART Recovery is pleased to announce that we will be running a Christmas Day meeting this year. This will be facilitated by Claire and will be running at 9am. Please pop in and say hi!
