Big Welcome to Kenny Reid who has been successful in securing a secondment with us. It is funded by the Corra Foundation in Scotland for 12 months initially so we can prove the concept of embedding addiction recovery within a housing provider organisation. Kenny will be supporting the 24 staff at Blue Triangle who have ben trained as SMART Facilitators. His mission will be to enable SMART meetings at Blue Triangle residences and community locations across 9 local authorities. He already works for Blue Triangle as a night time support worker and with his knowledge of the needs of people there combined with his skills in SMART and the fact hes been given full time protected hours for a year to do this we are certain he will do a great job. We are delighted to have you onboard Kenny!
Throughout Recovery Month in September SMART will be at the following events: –
- Natwest HQ to do a stand
- FAVOR conference and walk
- Paisley Recovery Walk
- 30th International Recovery Day
Our CEO Charlie will be dropping into as many online meetings as possible to express thanks to our amazing volunteers.
