SMART Recovery Community Co-ordinator
One-year contract initially
Band F £23,650 p.a. pro rata, 30 hours per week
Covering the following areas: Edinburgh, Glasgow, West Lothian, Mid & East Lothian, Forth Valley and East Dunbartonshire
We are looking for a self-motivated individual to take on the challenges of further developing SMART Recovery meetings in the areas mentioned and provide ongoing support to meeting facilitators.
You need to be an experienced SMART Meeting Facilitator who can demonstrate best practice within a SMART meeting, someone passionate about the SMART Recovery Programme, have excellent organisational skills and are able to manage your own time. Experience in delivering face to face training and working with volunteers would also be desirable.
The role will involve visiting SMART meetings to offer guidance and support, developing networks for SMART meeting facilitators, providing support to participants who want to go on to become meeting facilitators, developing new peer led meetings in the community and delivering SMART training courses.
Working alongside the SMART team, ADP’s and other partners, you will also be raising awareness of the programme and developing networks with service providers.
Although you will be home-based it is expected that you will travel to SMART meetings in the areas mentioned above. Agreed expenses, including mileage will be reimbursed, laptop and mobile phone will be provided.
